  • Loving on Loxley Ministry – Assisting folks in Loxley and surrounding communities with small house repairs and maintenance.
  • San Pedro Mission – Hispanic Ministries meet in the FAC every Sunday at 1:00 p.m. for their worship celebration.
  • Scouting
    • Girl Scouts meet usually once a week, on Friday night and participate on Girl Scout Sunday Worship annually.
    • Friday leader is Tammy Davis, (6:00pm to 7:00pm)
  • Christmas Caroling
  • Volunteer Chaplin for Thomas Hospital and the Infirmary hospitals
  • Elementary School Volunteer Reading
  • School uniform drive – annual collection program
  • VBS for children – open to the community occurs in July for one week from 6-8pm.
  • VBS for ARCBC is held in August for one week from 6-8pm.

Civic Programs

  • County Spelling Bee – this locally held event gives our UMW an opportunity to provide the refreshments.
  • Loxley Optimist Club – meets at the Loxley UMC weekly.
  • Member of Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce
  • Family Activity Center (FAC) – Our facilities are used by many in the community, i.e., Baldwin County Board of Education, Baldwin County Habitat for Humanity, Gideon’s, and Baldwin County Nursing Association. 
  • Outdoor/Family Outings 
  • Golf – We have sponsored two golf tournaments every ear for over five years and will continue to be involved in these golf outings in the future.  The proceeds from these tournaments go to a different mission each time. 
  • Picnic in the Park – The annual picnic in the park has been hosted by the UMW every ear and we hope to see everyone there at the future picnics  
  • Easter Egg Hunt – The return of our annual church wide Easter Egg Hunt is fast approaching.  Stay alert to hear who will be hosting the gathering this year. 
  • Son-Rise Service Easter Morning is held at the Loxley Civic Center every year and is attended by many different denominations as we worship God and remember that Easter morning years ago that change the world.
  • Thanksgiving Community Service – This service is held the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving every year and is on a rotating schedule between the Church of God-Loxley, First Baptist Church-Loxley, Rosinton United Methodist Church, and Loxley United Methodist Church.
