LOXLEY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IS NOW LOXLEY CHURCH OF GRACE!

After discernment through both prayer and discussion, our local church has become Loxley Church of Grace, and disaffiliated from the United Methodist Church. After much sacrifice of time, effort, financial giving (both inside and outside our membership), sweat and tears and sleepless nights, it was official after a vote of the UMC AL/West Florida Conference Special Called Conference to allow us, and 192 other to do so. This was on May 7, 2023. We have also elected to become a member congregation of the newly formed Global Methodist Church. Most of our members have been Methodist for much of their lives, and enjoy being part of a connected system of churches.
